Road Race Riccione Circuit just hosted the amazing "Hot Race Beach Cup 2015", a race based more on having fun and enjoying time together as an RC family, than on a competition among the drivers.
The aim of the event is of having fun as a holiday all together and to let it be possible the staff organised a series of activities and relaxing moments beside racing RC.
Thursday night drivers had their first chance of having a motor racing competition challenging each others on Go-Karts at “I Kart” circuit. At the end of the night Alessandro Bracci was the first champion of the weekend.
On Friday, after a Happy Hour on the track, we all went to Coco Rico Beach next to the sea to have a drink together and then we recharged our batteries with a super Italian sea dinner.
Saturday night the drivers were able to enjoy an amazing dinner and disco time at Villa delle Rose.
And then it is all set for a sunny Sunday of finals!
...well, hangovers considered!
The race started very well, and at the end of the qualifications for the F1 class Jan Ratheisky, who made the TQ, Olivier Bultynck and Enea Zani were in the first three positions. After the finals the first two drivers switched place and the positions at the podium have been Olivier Bultynck, Jan Ratheisky, and Enea Zani.
For the Stock class, positions remained unchanged from qualifications, and we find Mattia Collina, Nico Catelani, and Simone Aleotti at the podium. The first two drivers struggled a lot but Mattia fought to always keep the first position.
The qualifications in the Modified class finished with Ronald Völker, Alexander Hagberg and Alessio Menicucci at the top, but after the finals and because of some mechanic problems of Hagberg it all ended with the podium of Ronald Völker, Jonathan "JJ" Wang and Alessio Menicucci.
"Dash for Ca$h" has been successful and funny also at this race, with drivers who tried not to destroy their cars racing in the opposite direction of the track. The lucky guys that won are: Jan Ratheisky for the F1 class, Davide Rabitti in the Stock class, and Manuel Busoli in the Modified class.
The whole weekend has been wonderful in company of nice people, good music and incredible races. The staff did a super good and intense job to make all this possible.
We are looking forward for the next year to have another weekend as this one in order to have another chance to have this unbelievable atmosphere.
